Brief Introduction

Efficiency class IE3 is the core energy-saving feature of AIMIN YKK series high voltage three-phase asynchronous motors, which meets the international premium efficiency standard and delivers outstanding energy performance for heavy-duty industrial applications. Manufactured by Xi'an AIMIN Motor Co., Ltd., this YKK5003-4W model shown on the nameplate is a closed squirrel-cage motor equipped with air-to-water cooling system, IP54 protection grade and IC611 cooling method. Designed for S1 continuous duty operation, the motor adopts Class 155 insulation system to guarantee stable and safe long-time running. Its rated power reaches 1000kW, rated voltage 6300V, rated speed 1485 r/min and power factor 0.87, perfectly matching the demand of large-scale industrial equipment such as fans, water pumps, compressors and mills.

The motor adopts box-type welded frame structure, featuring high rigidity, low vibration and low noise. The bearing configuration can be customized according to operating conditions. This YKK5003-4W uses NU230ECM drive-end bearing and 6228/C3 non-drive-end bearing to support steady rotation under heavy load. The axial centering requirement must be strictly followed when connecting with driven machinery via coupling. The air-water cooling structure effectively controls temperature rise even under continuous full-load operation. The motor can adapt to ambient temperature from -15℃ to 40℃ and altitude up to 1000 meters, suitable for power, metallurgy, chemical and cement industries. Operational precautions should be followed before commissioning. For 2-pole units, rotation direction must align with the indicator mark. For air-water cooling squirrel cage motors, circulating cooling water must be filled as per nameplate data before startup. When adopting reduced-voltage starting under heavy load, users need to notice that starting torque drops with the square of starting voltage; extended starting time may lead to winding overheating and damage. For motors with compound grease lubricated sliding bearings, sufficient external circulating grease supply shall be confirmed prior to startup. Winding operation without proper earthing is prohibited.
