Brief Introduction

The YRKK 6kVslip ring motor has the characteristics of good starting performance, high starting torque and small starting current. It is widely used in the working principle of winding motors in the crane industry.

The starting methods of a 6kV slip ring motor include starting with a resistor connected in series with the rotor winding and starting with a frequency-sensitive varistor connected in series with the rotor winding.

The main reason for the slow speed of the winding three-phase asynchronous motor after the start-up resistor is removed is the failure of the accessories of the collector ring device.When the working vibration of the brush is large, the pressure finger of the brush grip and the pressure plate on the top of the brush tend to fatigue fracture, and care should be taken to check frequently.The distance between the brush grip and the surface of the collector ring should be adjusted to be within 2~4mm, and the distance between the front and rear ends of the brush grip and the collector ring should be equal.

The fastening screws at the connection between the winding of a certain-phase rotor of a 6kV slip ring motor and the collector ring are loose, causing the wiring between the winding and the collector ring to be disconnected, causing the speed to be too slow. Insufficient brush pressure or the contact surface of the collector ring is not smooth, which will cause poor contact between the brush and the collector ring and cause sparks, causing the speed to be too slow.
