Brief Introduction

The basic principle of the DC motor is the law of electromagnetic induction. When a direct current flows through the armature winding of a motor, it creates a magnetic field. The working principle of low speed brushed DC motor is the same as that of ordinary brushed DC motor. When the direct current is passed through the brush to the commutator and then into the armature winding, the armature produces a rotating magnetic field.
