Brief Introduction

Xi'an AIMIN Motor's Z4 series DC motors are high-performance separately excited direct current motors, engineered to match static rectifier power supplies and meet demanding variable-speed industrial drive requirements. As a core member of this lineup, the 90kw motor model Z4-280-41B represents the mature design and reliable craftsmanship of the Z4 family. This series follows the JB/T6318 national standard, with robust mechanical structure, outstanding commutation performance and low moment of inertia, which makes it ideal for applications requiring frequent speed adjustment, forward and reverse rotation, as well as heavy-duty starting.

The Z4 series adopts separate excitation design, separating the excitation circuit from the armature circuit to achieve flexible and stable speed regulation. The speed range of this 90kw motor spans 400 r/min to 1600 r/min. It runs at 400V rated voltage, 265A armature current and 12.7A excitation current. The thermal class reaches 155, with IP21S protection grade and IC06 cooling method. It can work stably under ambient temperature from 0℃ to 40℃ at altitudes up to 1000 meters. The driving end uses 6320/C3 bearing while the non-driving end is equipped with 6218/C3 bearing, delivering long service life and low running noise. The S1 continuous working duty enables the motor to run nonstop for long hours without overheating risk.

Compared with traditional Z2 and Z3 DC motors, Z4 series has smaller volume, lighter weight and better dynamic response. It can be directly powered by thyristor rectifier units, eliminating the need for intermediate rotary converters. The excellent control characteristic allows smooth stepless speed adjustment, adapting to diverse working conditions. Typical application fields include metallurgical rolling equipment, heavy machine tools, papermaking machinery, printing lines, textile equipment, plastic extruders and hoisting transport machinery.
